THE GIST

Working out is proven to give you a boost of energy, but it's not something a lot of gyms acknowledge. Planet Fitness has come to own this idea, and in this holiday spot we parody Hallmark movie tropes to elicit viewers to ~believe~ in the magic of Big Fitness Energy and join Planet Fitness. This self-aware spot serves to garner brand awareness and boost overall consumer sentiment for Planet Fitness.

MY ROLE

Concepted and sold in the spot despite clients having no budget set aside for it. Worked first-hand with the director and production company to set the approach for how we filmed the spot. Led casting, location, and wardrobe alongside my partner and the director. Played a pivotal role on set as liaison between client and director, as well as in the post-production process with our editing and finishing partners.
